Our world faces many difficult times of suffering. This suffering affects all of creation, not just human beings. The explanation for this is found in Gen. 3, with the sin of Adam. This fallen nature passed unto all of humanity, but the judgments pronounced by God against the serpent/Satan, Eve and Adam impacted all of creation with sin, sickness and death. When we examine this doctrine of suffering carefully, it gives us a better understanding of why thing happen as they do, and what God has provided in Christ Jesus to address this problem. I invite you to watch this video and study the passages that are given to help you deal with suffering more Biblically.
The Holy Spirit, through the pen of Peter, gives us some important information that we need to know and heed when it comes to a Christian suffering. I encourage you to check out the scriptures shared in this video and gain courage in suffering.
As we remember the tragic Roe v. Wade Decision of 1973, we return to the Word of God to declare the Sanctity of Human Life. Because we are created in the image of God, we have Sanctity and the capacity to know God and experience fellowship with Him. Although Adam's sin broke that fellowship, the Sacred Sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ makes it possible for us to return to that place of worship. Every unborn baby has a soul and is sacred in the eyes of the Lord. Watch this video and see that reinforced from the Scripture!
All believers deal with "Stress and Conflicts." This message is intended to help believers in the Lord Jesus Christ to respond Biblically to the stress and conflicts that come our way. The Apostle Paul had more than enough stress and conflicts in his life but he continued to fulfill God's call on his life. We too can keep on keeping on as we respond Biblically.
I invite you to look at a different way to understand suffering. While we often think from the angle of just avoiding suffering or for the quickest way out, there are times when God allows suffering for His Glory and we should rejoice in that opportunity.
1 Cor. 13 is often called the Love Chapter! Listen along to discover the Character of Christ as displayed in this chapter. Also, check to see how your love matches up with the Love of Christ!
We often think that the world would be a wonderful place is there were no suffering. However, we are not there yet. The New Heaven and New Earth will see that change but we aren't there yet! I encourage you to watch this presentation for new insight into the functions of the Church during this time were are living in.
As a background for the message found in Corinthians, the history of the Shekinah Glory of God leading the people of Israel out of Egypt and through the wilderness is presented. Then you will see how God provided guidance for New Testament believers and warnings for how to live a victorious life. The warnings are still valid for us today!
The account of Jesus' casting out demons at Gadara in the Decapolis is loaded with contrasts. I invite you to study the contrasts with me and consider what that means for you.
The believers in Antioch were first called Christians! This passage sheds great light on the extension of the gospel outside Jerusalem! Barnabas and Saul were mightily used of God in the new believers there in Antioch and from there the Gospel spread eventually to Asia Minor and Europe and eventually to us!
Christ's week before His Triumphal Entry was experiencing a number of emotions as were those around Him. Consider what they were thinking and what we are thinking in light of the promised return of the Lord for His Church!
On this Resurrection Sunday we are going to look at the amazing facts pointing to the fact that Jesus Christ, the God/man was in fact dead for three days and three nights and then was raised from the dead. His Resurrection demonstrated God the Father's acceptance of the sacrifice for our sins and because Jesus lives eternally, those who believe in Him as their Lord and Savior will also live forever with Him. Jn. 11:25-26
One of the biggest needs in our society today is to learn how to think Biblically! We have been so influenced by the secular culture that we tend to think non-biblically and wonder how we keep getting things wrong. I pray this message can be helpful for your thinking!
It is very important for us to "think" correctly. Too many folks only think secularly instead of Biblically and as a result come up with some very poor decisions and consequences. Consider this message as an introduction of how to think from God's point of view!
As a believer in Jesus Christ a person needs to think "Concretely." That means to think Biblically in the absolutes of God's Word. Our society has become lost in secular humanism's relativistic thinking and therefore can't think Biblically on the important issues of life. Please consider the truths offered in this message to assist you in thinking Biblically.
Believers in Jesus Christ as their Savior need to be able to think "Objectively." Thinking "objectively" instead of "Subjectively" is very important if a person is going to be stable in their faith and not jerked around by emotions instead of facts and truth. When we think "Objectively" we go to God's Word and find out what truth God has proclaimed that applies to our given situation and then we obey Him and find His blessings coming our way.
Born-again believers need to think according to Biblical Principles. This message is about thinking about the Principle of Self-Acceptance. This deals with the acceptance of a person's life as God designed it from conception forward. Submitting to God's Sovereignty brings peace and the abundant life when a person has been saved.
The Virtuous Woman from Prov. 31 is a marvelous example of someone who had a healthy acceptance of her position in God design and plan for a woman, a wife, a mother and a householder. I hope as you view this presentation you will be bless and challenged with your relationship with the Lord.
This message is intended to help the listener to know how to correctly align themselves with God design and plan if they have some issues of self-rejection going on in their lives.
One of the challenges that believers deal with is the Principle of Authority and Responsibility. Submitting to Biblical Authority is absolutely necessary for a fruitful Christian life. View this message to see how this applies to you.
One of the most important things a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ can do is to obtain a clear conscience. Then, he must continue to maintain that clear conscience by staying in fellowship with the Lord through confession of sin in prayer and claiming forgiveness which is promised in 1 Jn. 1:9
This message is a continuation of the morning message and illustrates the significance of working through the process of maintaining a clear conscience!
Learning how to forgive as Christ has forgiven us means Yielding our Rights to get even and carry a grudge against those who have sinned against us. The way to peace and power in a Christian's life comes through a spirit of yielding rights and forgiving those who offend us.
